Wharton vs. Rice Cons. 12-14 I think? Game called due to lightning

Stafford vs. Splendora no score reported

The W.C. game and the Wharton games were called and they will not be replayed. They will both enter next week 0-0.

Will Needville be 0-0 as well since their game was called?

I thought it takes 4 quarters to make it an official game-no matter what

You thought the same as me. Sweeny was able to finish against Van Vleck with the lightning in the background.

Decent showing by D26. I'm a bit surprised at a couple of the games though. WC over Brazosport is a pleasant surprise. On the other hand...I expected BR to handle Hempstead and it looks as if it went to the wire. Stafford beat up on Splendora pretty good too....32 to 13 I believe. Is Stafford improved or is Splendora that bad?

Stafford does have a lot of returners if I'm not mistaken. Maturity is important in how a program develops.

Went to Bay City-Dayton game which Broncos won 42-20

30 Minute delay because of lightning and rain started on last play afer the game.

Dayton QB Ploch- three rushing TDs, on passing


309 rushing yards and almost 100 passing

Bay City played tough-had two fumbles- 3 personal foul penalties- 2 sideline warning penalties
