I will pray for him. My daughter was diagnoised with Severe Aplasin anemia last year...had bone marrow transplant..is cured according to her Dr.

Of the 2 you mentioned both are very treatable. MD Anderson has the largest and best lymphoma facilities in the state. They get more money for researh than most places in the country. Pretty much the same for leukemia.

My prayers are with you. It will be a long journey and a hard fight but it is most likely successfully treatable. As I'm sure you know there are different kinds of each disease.....some more treatable than others. So we will pray that he has one of the (for lack of a better word) better ones.

My brother-in law had lymphoma (can't remember if it was Hodgkins or non Hodgkins) but He lived almost 18 years and they were not nearly as advanced as they are now.
I will love to hear from you. I spent 16 months not knowing if my daughter would come through her very rare disease or not. I know the strain.

Please keep me posted.

Finally heard from the Dr. The results from the biopsy last week were inconclusive as far as maligant cells go. The next step will be an open biopsy where the Dr will go in remove the growth then send it for test. The next biopsy will be Sept 10. Please keep prayers coming for my brother.

I will be praying.....I believe he will be alright.
Keep up the hope and have faith. Remember that faith is not knowing that God can;
It's knowing that God WILL.:)

I have sent a prayer, and will continue to send prayers your way for your brother and your entire family. I lost a brother to leukemia in '01. That was one of the toughest things I've ever had to endure, but his was too far advanced by the time it was discovered. With prayer he, and the entire family, will get through this. Keep the faith, brother! Keep us posted, please.

This could be seen as a good sign.

Yea Md Anderson is by far one the best Cancer Treatment Facilities in the nation. My grandfather was diagnosed with Mesothelioma in '03 and they gave him 6 months. After 2 years of going to Anderson he lost the battle but was in good spirits when he left and my family was still in good shape financially. My prayers go out to your' brother big dawg. Take care man

Had another biopsy this morning. The Dr. thought he might of been able to tell us the prognosis. There was too much fatty tissue around the mass so they are having to send it off. Next Wednesday is when we should find out for sure. Thanks for your continued prayers.

More prayers will be said. This sounds like the bone marrow test we had to wait on. It took two weeks and 2 or 3 pulls for them to finally get enough marrow to make a diagnosis. But all is good almost 2 years now from the first symptoms. God IS good.:)
