Dude, I like you but you are way wrong. both teams played very good defense but both gave up a couple of big plays that let the other team score.

everyone in LH is full aware of Burnet. Hopefully, after seeing tonight, some realize that every opponent is gonna be a battle this year. How'd Brownwood manage to move the ball tonight? Air? Ground?

First 3 quaters we threw almost every play, final quater was nearly all run. Last drive we took the kick off at the 30 with 2:15 left and scored with just over a minute left and I think every play was a run. If not every play, most of them were.

We finally wore them out. That and we put the best tailback in and left him there. We got 2 real good ones but one is great. He single handedly won the game on the last drive. I cant wait for Jaxon to get healthy. We missed the deep threat he provides.

BEAST Yea, I was a little disappointed Stehl didn't get the ball more the first 3 qtrs.

Unlike last year, Brownwood isn't gonna be a whipping boy anymore. Shipley's gonna right the ship and beat up on a lot of people in years to come, maybe even this year.

Congrats to all you Wood fans. The game sure kept us all on the edge of our seats. I sincerely hope both teams can do well the remainder of the year. You guys have an especially hard district and ours is no cake walk. I would bet that Liberty Hill bounces back with a little more game experience from their younger players. I was proud of the Bulldogs because they went down swinging and neither team had any quit in them!!!!!!!!!!!

There was alot of talent on both sides of the field last night. I know I was alittle concerned when ya'll scores with less than 3 minutes left. Very good and hard fought game by 2 great football programs.

My prediction was for a hard fought victory for Brownwood with the game being close into the 4th Quarter and Brownwood scoring in the last 2:00 of the game.

Burnet is an awesome team. Good luck to you guys and I see a District Championship decided between Wimberley and Burnet. Take care.

I know you guys did not like the final score but you had to enjoy the game. Both teams played hard from start to finish and lots of lead changes. You guys almost won the game in the same way you lost to LH last year.
