Was not pretty..Well it was 12-6 at one point as our little 15 man team with about 9 of em being 6th graders were holding their own agianst a team chocked ful of 8th graders.

But then they drop 36 straight points and we go down in defeat...oh well try again on the varsity level tomorroW!

You can’t win them all coach! I hope you season goes better! Good Luck and back to the drawing board!

Good news is no one EVER has a good 1st game. You come in with the perfect plan and it all goes phhht. It gets better. Keep it up those kids will remember you forever. :clap:

Install the TE dump. You will score on that play. Play Action then hit the TE who should be wide open.

well seeing as out O has no TE that wont work..and before u say put in a TE that is not the offense of the system.

What school are you at if you don't mind me asking?

ha I had the best football game of my life playing TE and running a play similar to this on JV my sophomore year.. I probably had 150 yards receiving and 2 TDs.. The other team (FW Northside) ran man the whole time and the LBs bit on the play action everytime leaving me wide open for 30/40 yard gains.. I never did much after that game though, other JVs must have gotten game footage
