Week zero is upon us, and everyone is ready to flip the switch on 3A football 2009. Everyone has high expectations for their favorite team. Let's see how many are brave enough to put them down now. Are there any 10-0 teams?

LE has a loaded schedule this year and I can only at best put them at 7-3.

our team is so good we might as well just start preparing for the state game seeing how everyone'll forefit up until then

I'm about 10% optimist and 90% realist.
Soooooooooo
I dont think 6-4 is out of the question at all, but with so many changes, and one super tough district, I dont think anyone quiet knows what to expect yet. I think 4-6 should be the worst we should expect, and 7-3 would be about the best. But we'll all be hoping for 10-0 for sure.
I'm anxious to see how we look against Burk tomorrow night, then see how things progress over the next 4 weeks. Then I think we'll have a much better idea about how district will shape up.

Worst would be 9-1, but should be 10-0.

Realistically......I'll say we'll be somewhere around 7-3.

We have a realistic shot at being 10-0 in the regular season again, but that doesn't mean we will. We have a tough pre-district schedule. To be honest, I don't care what our regular season record is,.............just so long as we END THE SEASON WITH A WIN!:D

Since LE is the only 3A team we play in predistrict and they're loaded I thinik it's going to be tough but I'm predicting a 7-3 record.

I think they are from Wylie...

Brownwood will be 7-3, but I won't be surprised if we go 9-1.

I pretty much agree with all those numbers.
I do believe that if the Mustangs make the playoffs, they will go at least 3 or 4 rounds.

I think we are at least 7-3 could be 9-1. It all depends on how healthy we are through district play.

If you don't make it into the playoffs.......

I know, I know........but I'm just saying.

Hahahaha........now that's funny!! :D You are right, though. I guess I should just come out and say it 10-0 regular season, 15-0 or 16-0 overall.:D That'd be fantastic by me!;)

Farmersville:

A loss tonight against Winnsboro and I think the Farmers go 7-3 on the season with losses to Winnsboro, Prosper and Lovejoy. If they win tonight I think the momentum will take them to a 9-1 season. Prosper will be hard for them to beat. Every other game is winnable if they get some confidence.

Could go 7-3, 6-4,5-5, or 4-6 at the worst. Just depends on what team shows up to play.

At this time, I think 9-1. I think Navasota will defeat everyone in district, with Caldwell being the biggest test. Rockdale and Cameron will be tough, but they have to come to Navasota. I don't see us coming out of Bellville with a win yet, but I think we will one of their most capable opponents of the year. The possibility of us going 10-0 again is good, but it will take them playing hard and not letting up all year long. With the performance last night in Lufkin, I think the senior-heavy Rattlers have their goals in reach.

Caldwell 6-3 same as last year, 7-4 overall. The secret is who they get after first round bye-week.Seeding is especially important.

Navasota will be tough, Rockdale close either way and Cameron will likely flood the field to "get even" (still trying to figure out the theory about soaking the field when the superintendent would never allow anything like that).

:D
