La Vernia 29 - Port Isabel 17 :(
La Vernia has a good team they came ready to play, has quite a few good players, especially their QB. PI started the game well, but fumbled twice right away, after moving the ball well. An injury that really concerns me is "Missile" Iracheta went out of the game after a TD reception. Looks like to me he might have re-injured his hamstring, I hope it was just cramps. Tarpons will be OK, it was only their 2nd scrimmage of the season. Besides it's wasn't their last game but just their first. I have a feeling we might see this match-up again come play-off time.
