Ingleside @ (4A) CC Miller

During Ingleside's first scrimmage they were able to control a District favored 4A Team (Gregory Portland) and come out 4-1. The Stangs second scrimmage against 2A Taft however showed that they may still need some work and came up short by I believe 3-2.

CC Miller has the athletes to compete, but in recent years IMO have lacked the leadership and desire to take it to the next level. If CC Miller plays to their potential this will be a good test for Ingleside.

I havent seen or talked to anyone directly on how Ingleside is playing. From what I have read on here and at the 4a site is that Inglesides D is very good and that the offensive line is pretty solid.

On this alone I will take Ingleside by 10.

Additionaly, will anyone be at the Game on Thursday that can IM me or post some updates here on the downlow?

I have watched both scrimmages that Ingleside has played. A good performance against G-P, very marginal against Taft. Miller looks good, but they look good every year before the season starts. Ingleside has the players and experience to has a solid season, but they need to be ready to play and be able to overcome adversity. The offensive line, QB, RB’s are all seniors. The defense looks OK, but I think it will be the offense that will carry this team. I will go with Ingleside 38 -16

Discipline always hurts Miller. But the Mustangs ball handling has been a problem for years. Dang Butter Fingers!

miller had a good play called and the wr open in the endzone. held on to long to the ball. ingleside defense quick to the ball.
