Whats up with the Bowie/Aubrey Scrimmage

Leon heard that Bowie packed up and left after about nine plays. Anybody else know anything?

Wow! Read the article and am at a loss for words....First time I have ever heard of something like that happening....Not sure how to approach that as I can see both points of view. I could understand why the Bowie coaches were so upset, but I can understand the Aubrey kids playing all out. I don't think it was Coach Moore's fault. He was simply coaching the kids to play hard and aggresive. I seriously doubt the kid was purposely trying to hurt anyone, just simply trying to play hard and secure his position on defense. If anyone is to blame, I think it is the officials for letting the situation get out of control. They could have simply pulled the coach to the side and apologized for missing the call and assure him that they would keep a close eye on it and perhaps remind the kids of the rules. To blow off the coach with an attitude like quit whining and play football is the wrong answer, so I can understand why the Bowie coach got upset. Meanwhile, the kids from Aubrey were just getting after it be it a scrimmage or not. Football is a rough sport and people do get injured from time to time. You hate to see that happen, especially in a scrimmage. I hope the Bowie quarterback is going to be alright.
