According to Chris Mortensen's source with the Cowboys, raising the 72' high video screen would cost a minimum of $2 million (or 33,333 pizzas (http://www.nbcdfw.com/blogs/blue-star/Want-A-Pizza-At-Cowboys-Stadium--Thatll-Be-90-52520922.html)). No worries, Jerry Jones was already considering raising it to accommodate a U2 concert. [ESPN] (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4416217)

How 'bout just raise it... right out of the stadium. Could prob sell it on eBay ;) . It's a nusance and distracts from the game in a big way.

Set it on top of the roof so I can watch the game from Lewisville.

LOL, I can actually see the the stadium from 360 and Trinity Blvd.

I like when the Rangers hit a homerun, I run to my back patio and watch the fireworks..

I am not shocked. It's bolted into place and not on movable lines like most arena scoreboards.

It's 5 ft higher then the NFL said it needs to be. So I'd leave it where it's at.
The visiting team will need to learn to kick line drives.

It's called home field advantage for a reason.

Shoot, he is going to have to drop that much. He might as well just keep it and tell the opposing teams to get over it or leave.

It can be moved, they are gonna move it for the U2 concert. When we were putting in the grass for the soccer field they was working on raising it then.

How is it moved? On the Build it Bigger special I saw(or whatever show it was) it looked like it was permanent as far as being able to flip a switch and it move.

I think the most feasible idea would be to lower the field another 20 to 30 feet. That way he could either add another level of suites or expand the seats down to field level. That would add even more potential revenue, plus would be less expensive, in my opinion...........or he could just put the video board on a motorized trolley where it could be raised or lowered on demand.

re: home field advantage... if teams can have outdoor stadiums in Wisconsin and Buffalo and play in the snow, I say let Jerry keep it where it is at... it is 5 feet higher than the NFL rules require.

I got it! Just put in AN EVEN BIGGER VIDEO SCREEN, play the actual game offsite and just show the game on the screen! Yeah, that's it...

Anyone who complains about it is just being a whiny baby, IMO.

Could be jealousy . . .

My jumbotron is bigger than yours! :D
