Toe to keep Owens sidelined

A sprained toe will prevent Terrell Owens from practicing until next week, meaning he'll miss Buffalo's preseason game at Green Bay on Saturday.

Coach Dick Jauron ruled Owens out of playing this week after the receiver missed his second straight practice Wednesday. Jauron said Owens isn't expected to resume practicing until "next week some time."

Except for a brief 20-minute workout during practice Monday, Owens has been out since jamming his foot in a 21-18 loss to Tennessee in the Hall of Fame game on Aug. 9.

After playing Green Bay, the Bills have two more preseason games: At Pittsburgh on Aug. 29 and home against Detroit on Sept. 3.

Oh I have original thoughts ok.

I could have just said I was on the DART train yesterday when I saw a newsflash come across the on-board train screen saying T.O. had a hurt toe and the train stopped and a disabled vet boarded the train in a wheel chair and how T.O. gets more attention about his big toe than heros in real life, but then you probably would have had a negative comment about that, so I just reported the news as it was and you still complained..so what was the difference?

Or I could have mentioned that my work is slowing down and it's probably just a matter of time until I'm unemployed and how being 58 and unemployed is kind of scary, since no one really wants to hire someone my age regardless of skills and abilities because you know, people my age are just looking for a place to get benefits and a retirement check. So, there's that to think about.

Or I could have mentioned that I got word yesterday that one of the people I helped while working at the Texas Workforce Commission passed away not long ago, and how his ex-wife already has a new boyfriend, but since you didn't know the guy, it probably wouldn't have interested you. So yeah, I have lots of original thoughts, but sometimes what my original thoughts are has no confluence of yours or the direction of anyone's lives but mine here, so there's always that to think about, so other than that, I try to kind of boil things down and just talk about T.O.'S TOE BEING A LITTLE HURT AND IT SORT OF MINIMIZES ALL OF MY THOUGHTS INTO SORT OF A SIMPLE WAY TO EXIST....
