Do you think they bring more bad PR to the NFL than if they were just brushed under the table as they were in years past?


I think that it does bring more bad PR to a league than it does if they silently handle the situation.

In years past we didn't have media like we have now. It was easier to hide things. Imagine if the media would of reported that Hollywood Henderson was doing coke on the field during the Super Bowl. If a player did that today he'd be on every news channel in the country. It was quite a few years before anyone found out about Hollywood doing that. The media is the reason you can't hide things under the rug, which is a good thing.
