La Grange wins 2 - 1, sorry for the delay, got off at 5:00 and went by the football field to watch a little practice

La Grange Junior Girls beat Canada 25 - 2. They are now 2 - 0 in pool play and will play Washington tomorrow at 6:45.

La Grange Junior Girls beat Washington 12 - 8 and are now 3 - 0 in pool play. They play tomorrow against a team from Tampa Florida. In an earlier forum it was discussed of how many players you have to pick from for your all-star team. In the La Grange Junior Division, La Grange had only ten players play league play and this is their All-Star Team. Not many programs can say this, normally you have at least two teams to pick from. A great group of young ladies.

the la grange ladies were to play thurs. at 5pm. they were 3-0.
How did they do??

They lost to Tampa, FL 3 - 0 and that made it a three way tie with La Grange, Tampa and Peurto Rico at 3 - 1. The good old three way tie-breaker came into effect and it went to the fifth tie-breaker rule and La Grange was elimanted from the Championship Series. They played today against a team from Utah and lost 5 - 4. I talked to some of the parents at Washington and the Girls never recovered from the outcome of the tie-breaker, they said they were real flat in todays game. I told them to tell all the Girls they have a community back home that is real PROUD if their effort and many ball players can only dream about playing in a World Series. Thanks for asking about our Girls and thanks for all of the support from ya'll.

Now they can enjoy summer, oh that's right, school starts Monday.

:clap: congrats to the la grange ladies. winning 3 up there was great, and being the best from texas is WOW. if I were a coach, I would feel real good about winning another state championship, or 2, or 3 in the next 6 yrs. once again, way to go..
