wow - there is alot of paperwork and details involved with being AD - details that alot of people don't have a clue are taken care of. :eek:

yes, we do. Pretty much part-time but there are times when she puts in more than 8 hours a day. It's a "feast or famine" type thing sometimes...

I think a AD/HC needs an "assistant" to take care of the jillions of phone calls, schedules, and whatever comes up etc....

IMO a very important part of the staff!!

Athletic Secretary in Whitesboro...mostly supports AD but also assists all coaches with paperwork, updating website, scheduling buses, etc. She is outstanding!

haha it's like that in Sinton too and most 3A schools. CC West Oso & Falfurrias are 2 schools in our district where the Head Football Coach is NOT the AD!

But that's for another thread. Right now I'm just curious as to how many of them have secretaries. :nerd:

We have one and she happens to be my wife. Part time except when track meets and the like come up and then 12 hour days are the norm.
