What is your opinion of the Titans running a fake punt in the first preseason game of the season? It reeks of sorryness to me. You have to bring out TRICKS to win a exhibition game when the other team is just trying to evaluate their talent.

i dont think its sorriness...i jsut thought it was weird being that now that they have shown it, everybody is aware of it....i think it'd had been smarter to keep that one under wraps until a moment u needed it when it counted...

Most teams just try to make sure they run plays correctly and everyone stays healthy. Seems like Tennessee must be confident with their offense. However the offense didn't light up the board much.....starters or not.

The only problem I saw with it was what Emerson mentioned in the other thread...showed it too early (season). Otherwise, I thought it was fun.

Maybe they needed to see it in a game situation so that they could see how an opponent who has no idea that it's coming would react.

maybe they ran it because they thought it had no chance of working but since the bill's special teams unit is obviously retarded it did work
