Shepherd also competed in 6-man football prior to 1956 just like several of the recent team histories I've posted but the following is their complete 11-man history.

If Shepherd wins over Huffman this week they will clinch their first playoff berth in 10 years! They've already guaranteed that they'll have their first non-losing record in district games since 1994. That's pretty awesome after having a 14 game losing streak from '07-'09!

this one is a shocker, the jv and junior high teams that grew into this varsity team showed very little over the last few years, but WOW!!! i can imagine everyone in cleveland is hoping liberty and huffman can slow shepherd down since splendora couldnt, wilput the indians into a MUCH tougher d1 schedule....doesnt look like either team has it this year to stop the pirates.....

dont get to congratulate them much but my hat is off, someone has done some serious coaching over there.....a big san jacinto county pat on the back........:clap: :clap: :clap:

Shepherd came SO close to advancing to the postseason in '09... I'm rooting for you in '10!
