World's Fastest Human
At the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, Hayes set a world record with a 100-meter time of 10.05 seconds. He also anchored the 4x100 relay team, which won gold with a world-record time of 39.06. Hayes' legendary split was clocked at 8.6 seconds.

1) Only person to have won Olympic Gold Medal (2) and a Super Bowl Ring. Super Bowl VI.

2) 3 Pro Bowls (http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-hall-of-fame/09000d5d811c08b7/A-tribute-to-Bob-Hayes)

3) Scored a touchdown every 5.2 times he caught the ball.

4) 18 touchdowns of 50 yards or more.

5) Punt return average in 1968 led the NFL.

Better late than never I guess. Still a shame it didnt happen many years ago.

As far as I'm concerned, the HOF lost a LOT of credibility by denying him for so many years. It's WAY past due.

No doubt this is long overdue but the thing that is the saddest is that he didn't live to enjoy it. I am sure that his family and friends will hide it but will have a little bitterness because of it.

Aint that the truth. As great as Roger The Dodger was, he owes much of his success to Drew Pearson. Nobody could run an out route like Drew. Even when the DBs and everyone in the stadium knew what was coming, they could make it work nearly every time.

I agree also. Tommy Nobis needs to be there too. At one time he was considered one of the top three linebackers in the NFL.
