Well, the newest addition to Slpybear's den has finally made it.

Travis was born on Thursday, May 22nd at 8:17 in the hospital.

He weighed 7lb, 1.8oz and was 18.5 inches long. He is definitely getting ready for two-a-days, because he was lifting his head off of my shoulder an hour after delivery. Not holding it up for minutes at a time, but he can look around then put it back down. He is one STRONG Boy! ( you can't tell that dad is proud of this one!)

I will see if this will link a picture...

and here is another one...

Well, I would definitely say this has been a productive off-season for new player aquisitions!!!

Everyone take care... I am looking forward to football this fall, hope to see all of you on the down low...

Congrats SlpyBear, He is a good looking one. Just by noticing his hands, he may end up being a QB, his right hand seems to be searching for the pigskin already. Once again congrats!

What a cutie! Dressed ready to hit any field, looks like. With four boys, I am biased but also feel qualified to say he's a winner! BTW, gdornon11 lifted his head in the delivery room and benched 420 lbs August of his senior year, so I'd say little Travis is gonna be great in the weight room, too. Congratulations and all the best!

Congratulations slpybear...he is a good looking young man. Some babies are a little ugly when they are born but not this one! It's a great feeling introducing these little guys to the world. Give Mrs. splybear my best regards as well.

Congrats slpybear!!

The first thing my son did was lift his head up and look his dad straight in the eyes!! He turned out to be a all state offensive lineman.

Babies are always a blessing!! wink

PPHSfan:
Congratulations my good friend,

One word of advice, get that soccer ball off of that boy's shirt as fast as you can. :D ARRGHHH!!!! PPHSFan, I NEVER noticed that before! I guess I was so overcome with joy that I never picked up on that symbol on his shirt of the communist, Fifth Column, sport of Soccer! wink wink wink

Heh, Heh... well, mommy picks out the clothes, so I guess I should just be happy he has a football on his shirt.

By the way, Mom came through the delivery just fine and we are all "Resting" at home. Those of you with kids know what I mean by "resting." :)

Thanks for all the kind replies,

congrats slpybear. I just had a future WNFL (it could happen by 2025) star 6 months ago. I cant wait to start training her to be a middle linebacker.

If this one is the first little addition to the family, then your life is now changed forever.
Congrats.
Somebody asked me one time how it feels being a "Daddy", and I told them that if you've never experienced your child being born, then you've never experienced a true miracle.

Thanks to everyone for the many postings...

Here are a couple of updates...

1.) Hibernating - Well, we go through one night of good sleep with the little guy only waking up once for a half hour to eat. Then, the next night he does the same. Only this time he stays up for 2 hours to play. YAWN!!!

2.) Soccer Shirt - Wouldn't you know it, this is mommies favorite outfit. And to top that off, one of my good friends at work got him a pair of OU BOOOMER SOONER Booties. ARGGGHHHH!!!!! KRYPTONITE!!!!

3.) Man, I am ready for Some TEXAS HS FOOTBALL!!!
