I was offered my first coaching/teaching job 2 weeks ago and finally signed my contract today. I just finished my Master's degree in May and have been working in retail management for the last five years. This is going to be a nice change.

Had a few meetings. We had Spring Ball, so no practice until next Monday.

Which lake were you on?

I've been working since last week but just got my contract today. I'm at one of the middle schools in Cleburne. Cleburne doesn't start two a days until next week. Just meetings and what not for now.

Wheat or Smith? Last year my basketball team (8th graders) beat Wheat 42-0.

Congrats on your job. The superintendent at Cleburne was at Sweetwater recently.

Watch out for earthquakes.

I'll have to ask some of the Wheat guys about that

Yea, I like Coach Young a lot. He played for Cleburne back in 81/82 when the rivalry was big between Brownwood and Cleburne. I was born in 83, but I know all of the stories... and now I've heard the stories from both sides!
