Wow that place is going to rock.

The new stadium is a definite morale booster.

i went last weekend. It is very impressive. when i was there theyhad grass down for a soccer tournement and the day after it was over they were taking the grass up and were going to start putting the turf down.

If you are ever around arlington area i would recomend going...very good info about the construction and stadium. It is also very cost effective ($15 for adults and $12 for kids 12 and under. I think.)

I agree Grmfan, but maybe I'm too picky. The grass that they put down for the soccer game looked a little brown and streaky to me...just sayin that for all of the money involved, I was expecting a lush green surface...it didn't happen.

Any professional natural grass field you see on TV is painted or dyed green. The people in charge of the soccer event deemed the grass good enough to not have to dye or paint it. You must also remember the grass was taken up on Wednesday and the game was played on Sunday. No sun or water from Wednesday to Sunday will take the green out some.
