With the posting of this history ALL current 3A Football programs that have opened since 1971 should now have complete histories posted (at least as close to complete as I have been able to find).

Tornillo is one of those teams that opts to play up into 3A because there are no 2A schools anywhere close to them. You have got to feel for these kids because they have "medium sized" 2A numbers. Last alignment they had 302 kids and their district mate Anthony only had 222. The next smallest school in their district is Clint with 543.
