When is Sweetwater getting their indoor facility? Certainly SISD is making some $$$ of the windmills.

Why does Sweetwater need an indoor practice
facility when Hugh Sandifer opens the doors to
theirs to Sweetwater when they have both
Reached the playoffs?

He just does that cause Wylie thinks they are better than Sweetwater. I guess if you look at the last 5 years though, that is true!

There are 4 school districts in Nolan County...and most of the turbines ARE NOT in the SISD region

Now if (when!!) the Tenaska Coal Plant comes to fruition .....that may change things a bit!!!:D :D :D

The Cowboys just got one of those ... I heard it cost more than a billion US dollars.

Apparently the Cowboys old indoor facility fell down and crushed some players and coaches.

How much did Snyder's cost? LOL

Looked around the new facility the other night, besides the football field it has 3 nets that can be lowered for baseball or softball, a roll up set of goal post, it can be divided into three seperated areas so that multiple sports can be in at the same time and also has an in ground pole vault box so that it can be used for that in bad weather as well.

Do you think practicing indoors while everyone else is practicing in the heat will be a disadvantage in the early part of season?

Where does Bellville practice when there's a torrential downpour or other kind of bad weather? Our kids have to go to the gym.

Unless the photographer is standing at midfield, then it's about 30 yards shorter.

I doubt it. The airflow in these suck so it's like you are in an oven(even in Forney's). In the summer it's an oven, in the winter it's a refrigerator.

Dang, another 20 feet on either side and you could put in bleachers and play a game in that thing.

The other day it was hotter in there than outside but my little brother said not all practices are held there.

Never been in one, but I bet thats right. Seems like they'd put in several overhead doors to allow for more ventilation when needed. But I guess you have to draw the line somewhere while spending taxpayer money. The Fed Gov could sure take some lessons.

Mulitple exhast fans in roof to draw heat and two exhast fans on north and south walls. So much for the taxpayers. :D :D
