1A,2A,3A North/South All star game

THSBCA All-Star Games will be played at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock on June 14th. The 3A-2A-1A game will start at 12:00 noon and 5A-4A game will begin around 3:30 pm.

and while they don't have anyone from Forney or Daingerfield, they did pick...Drew Stubbs OF Atlanta, Troy Vaughan 3B Carthage and Ty Wright SS Wills Point.

I guess they can only choose 1 player from each school???

i think that kinda makes a point, for teams that do well year in and year out, that it is not just one player who carries a team to the top, but it takes a solid core of good players who play well together and get the job done. i can only think of one team who was carried by one player and did exceptional, and that was that kid from liberty a few years back, can't remember his name, but they still didn't win the championship.

I don't know a whole lot about the North squad, but the South certainly seems to have loaded up the pitching staff. wink

Practice times for 1A, 2A, & 3A All Stars : South - June 13th - 9:30 - 11:00am @ RR Stony Point HS North - June 13th - 9:30 - 11:00am @ Round Rock HS
Practice Times for 4A & 5A All Stars : South - June 13th - 11:15 - 12:45pm @ RR Stony Point HS North - June 13th - 11:15 - 12:45pm @ Round Rock HS
Skill Night will be Friday, June 13th at Leander Cedar Park HS where all stars from both teams will test their fielding and throwing along with a home run derby."
