***CASTING NOTICE – DirecTV/NBC television series “Friday Night Lights***
We have finally gotten information about starting Season 4 of "FNL" and the casting office will open on 8/21/09. We will tentatively begin filming as of 9/2/09 in AUSTIN, TX (Austin or Texas LOCALS ONLY - we will NOT fly you to Austin or provide housing!).
We are currently looking to fill our CORE FOOTBALL PLAYER, CHEERLEADER & COACH positions with NEW FACES. In order to be considered for these positions you MUST have VERY flexible & open availability from 9/2/09 until we finish shooting (date TBD – likely will be until the end of this year, possibly into the new year). This means that you are not in school/college or getting ready to start school in the fall and/or you either do not have a full-time job or can get off work as often as needed to work on "FNL". You MUST also have completed your NCAA eligibility or do not intend to play college football in the future as this will jeopardize your ability to do so.
If you have worked as a Core Football Player or Cheerleader in the past, we will most likely NOT be able to use you in that role again as we need to create a new core group. Although there MAY be exceptions (TBD).
SEEKING:
-Football Players: 18-24 years old, young looking, athletic, previous football experience required, must know how to put on pads and a unif orm
-Cheerleaders: female, 18-24 years old, cute, MUST have previous cheerleading experience!! Stunting not required but is helpful. (under 18 is acceptable IF you have already graduated high school)
-Coaches: 28-60, athletic, previous coaching experience helpful but not required.
ALL POSITIONS ARE PAID POSITIONS!!
We are also casting general extras (Fans, Teachers, Students, etc.) for this project - open to ALL ages, NO Experience required!
If you are not in already our talent database, you MUST fill out a FREE profile at www.onlocationcasting.net in order to be considered for extra work. You MUST attach 1-2 recent photos, otherwise your profile will automatically be deleted. Upgrades that are offered are OPTIONAL and they are not necessary in order to work on “Friday Night Lights”. MAKE SURE TO LIST YOUR SPECIAL SKILL (football, cheerleading, coach, etc. in your profile!!!!
