Looks like The Gobblers have a chance to have a 65% winning record by end of season.

Cuero has not been under .500 since 1913.

UPDATE: The history has been updated through today. Cuero is one of only 12 teams in 3A still alive in the playoffs and the history will be updated again at the end of the season.

As of this week they have tied Brownwood in all-time wins with 645 to share the lead for most wins of any current 3A program in 11-man UIL football

Congrats!

Thanks for all of your efforts WOS87!

Man, looking back over the last 25 or so years reminds me of the down cycles we've had with various coaches at the helm. Those were some dark days. The fact of the matter is somehow our little town keeps producing athletes that are capable of playing some serious football, EVERY year. It's truly a shame some of the kids had to go through the program when it happened to be under "poor management", and miss out on all the fun OF success.

Coach Reeve is currently 84-10 @ Cuero, by these numbers. Not too shabby. How lucky we are he landed in Gobbler Country!

I got to thinking the other night - wonder where that guy is that accepted the Cuero job then backed out the next day and we had the fortune of hiring Coach Reeve - wonder what he's been doing for the last 7 years :D

Who knows, bet he's not 84-10 though.

Unfortunately my four years of high school were the four years of the Littleton era, so I enjoy the success and playoff runs we've had since Reeve came to town.

Those were some dark days. It was obvious early on for a lot of us that he wasn't going to work out. Nothing personal with Coach L.

It's really unfortunate you and a lot of other guys had to miss out on what could have been. I only hope the school board will make a good decision whenever Coach R leaves, and a new guy is hired.

Edit: Hope that will be a while.
