View Full Version : Prayers needed quick, Cuero Player

At 1:45 one of our players lost control on a 4 wheeler in west texas and was being life flighted to Odessa as far as we can find out. His mom is 4 hours away and on the way. He's 18 and a tb/db and a great young man. Please keep them close and I will fill in more as I find out.

So far still unconscious,broken collarbone,vital signs stabilizing, blood pressure coming down and scanning neck and head.They dont know how long he was out. The ranch owner went out to look for him when he didnt come back.

We had a similar situations in Brownwood and it is very trying for the family and community. Sad times for you guys and our prayers are definetly with you!

Still not awake, breathing on his own now and just a broken collarbone as of 4:45.

Wel guys as of about 1-1/2 hours ago tests showed no brain activity so they are waiting to donate organs.We kept him longer than the doctors expected but in the end God always wins out.
Please pray for my son and his teammates ,their at the house now trying to make as much sense as a 17 yr.old can.

God Bless one and all. You never know do you. In Celina in april a girl who was well loved and at quad c died of a sudden death seizure out of the blue. I can feel the pain in Cuero as if I was there and it was my son. Prayers to one and all.

This saddens me deeply. May the lord watch over the family,friends,classmates and team mates. Please help them try to come to some closure and try to move on with their lives.

Thought's and prayer's from everyone in Sweeny. The pain everyone in Cuero must be unbearable. We had a similar situation in the early 90's. May God give the family strength in this delicate time.

This is just so sad.

This young man was just 17 years old.

Cole Thomas Pargmann, 17, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2009. He was born November 26, 1991 in Cuero to Cory and Michele Pargmann. He was a student at Cuero High School entering his senior year. He was an exceptional athlete and lettered in football, track and basketball at Cuero High. He was also a member of the State Championship Track Team last year and was the Gobblers’ starting running back in 2008.
Cole is survived by his loving parents; his brother and best friend, Bo Pargmann; grandparents, Tommy and Sharon Pargmann and Robert and Dorothy DeLeon; aunt, Tracee DeLeon; uncle Jed DeLeon; special friends, Ariel Davilia, Kathy and Sheldon Lassman, Jamie and Maxx Wright; the Cuero Gobbler Coaching Staff; the Cuero Gobbler Football Team; and many family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 31, 2009, 10 a.m. at Cuero Competition Gym with Pastor Charles Eckert officiating. Interment will immediate follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Chance Harryman, Dustin Blinka, Troy Ruiz, Logan Pickett, Drew Arguellez, Desmond Patton, Johnathan Banda, and JJ Martinez.

Honorary Pallbearers: Martin Leske, Brady Boehl, Bubby Smith, Cuero Coaching Staff, C-Town Ballas Fishing Club, and Cody Wallace.

Memorials may be made in memory of Cole to Cuero Booster Club and the Cole Thomas Pargmann Scholarship Fund at Wells Fargo.
