my fiancee was taking nap and i woke her up to watch the 9th inning...she isnt a baseball fan and now she isnt happy...but i think i did the right thing and she needed to witness it

only 17 in the modern era now....2 were pre-1900 so 19 all time in pro baseball...i think thats worth waking up for no matter who you are...

I saw the 9th innning live on sportscenter.
Whoever said Rowand's catch in SF in Lincecum's no hitter was better than Wise's in the 9th of this one is CRAZY!
They're saying that was the best catch ever in that sort of situation. He leaps up takes away the homer..... juggles the ball... and then snags it in mid air as he's falling down. INSANE catch. All Rowand did was make a running catch and run intop the wall. This guy took a homer away and juggled the ball and everything.:hand:
