Sweetwater ranked 15th in the Region, but 4 teams from 2-3A are ahead of them. Says a lot about the district.

Six of the teams ranked ahead of Sweetwater
are on our regular season schedule. It will all
play out.

I really don't get all the love for Wimberley. They were terrible last year and sure they have a lot coming back. I just don't get the high recognition this early. They have a lot to live up to.

Any particular reason for that. I'm not saying they won't be when it is all said and done. I just don't see it. I would like some to hear some reasons why they will be that good though.

Maybe but it is sure not going to be your team.

All three teams from 7-3A will get their chance at the BlackCats. But appreciate the recognition, Rabid. Hope the Hornets surprise some folks this year.

Not thinking that will happen. Of course other teams have to be relied on for you to put us down. ;)

You guys are just lucky you play in the weakest district in 3-A as far as football is concerned. I don't have to rely on other teams to put you down. We owned you guys in basketball, baseball, hopscotch, spelling bee, knitting club, yadayadayada. Do I expect West to beat you guys this year? No, not really. But I do know one thing, since you think all of your regular season competition is a pushover every year, you better think twice this year. Mexia has your number.

Don't appreciate anything from Rabid. He doesn't support anyone else in the district but CS, you know, the guys who backed out of the 7on7 state tournament.

Didn't have a ton of problems in 17-3A, arguably the hardest district in the state for a few years now did we? We didn't own everyone, but we still fared well. And no sense in bashing our district and bashing us for being in it. Not like we can help where the UIL puts us. We just take what's given to us and go with it.
