Your preview of the La Grange - Yoakum openner is a good one. Yoakum is a fast team with a very talented passing Qb who is fast out of the pocket and can burn you both ways. The receivers are excellent and the La Grange defensive secondary will be tested. On the other hand, the La Grange Leopards are re-loading and appear to be gelling as a team. Look for a strong offensive showing with more of a passing game than seen in prior seasons. Anderle can pass the football and they have some real strength and speed in receivers, including TE Lance Schramm and WR/TB Eric Pittman. I think the outcome will turn on which team makes fewer mistakes. Turnovers and penalties are, unfortunately, a big factor in early season contests. This will be a close game, I give it to the Leps 28-21.
