NFC
East:Giants, the new D-line will be horrifying for Romo

West:49ers, once Singletary took over they started competing

AFC
East: Patriots, Brady is back and good draft

West: Chargers, Maybe LT returns healthy

South: Texans, just need to stay healthy and have new face on defense

I think the road to the Super Bowl for the NFC goes through Philidelphia and the AFC goes through New England. Think Donovan gets a ring this year.

Hm.

yeah...Green Bay was a lot closer to being a contender last year than their record indicates. I expect Minnesota to have all sorts of issues at QB this year because of the Favre talk...how would you like to be Rosenfels or Jackson and know that the team is trying to replace you already? There's still a potential cloud over the D-line if the suspensions from last year ever take effect.

I think Cutler's going to realize that he had a lot more talent in Denver than he realized. His number two receiver (Eddie Royal) was far better than anything he'll be throwing to this year.

I think Green Bay is a 10-6 team, Minnesota is 9-7 or 8-8, and Chicago is 8-8 or 7-9.

Traded for that good Olineman in Buffalo and used their top pick on the receiver from Mizzou. They were in NFC Title game last year. If McNab and Westbrook stay healthy the Eagles will be the favorite IMHO.

If Westbrook is healthy they will be competitive. Westbrook and McNabb are a force. But they didn't help themselves much in the offseason. A rookie receiver hardly ever makes a significant difference his first season. I think the lose of Dawkins will really hurt them because Philly was almost always defense first and Dawkins was huge on that defense. Philly will finish third in the East..................

The Eagles lost their two tackles on offense and picked up Peters and Andrews. They also lost their best player on defense, so I think at best they are a wild card team.

The Redskins added Dockery to the oline and some how got Orakpo to drop to them. They also have possibly the deepest defensive backfield in the league. If the Skins stay healthy they will atleast make playoffs and compete with New York for the divison.

Philly's worse loss right now is the DC being out with cancer. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery in time to watch the playoffs from home...lol

And as long as Jason Campbell is the QB for Washington, they won't get in the playoffs.

Dawkins is like 37 years old, he could barely cover anybody man to man last year, him moving on is actually a good thing for the Eagles.. The Eagles replaced him with Shaun Brown from Cleveland who has been a solid player for the past few years and will fill that role nicely.. Also don't forget that we got Ellis Hobbd from New England to further sure up the secondary..

As for offense, this might be the best the Eagles have been on offense since McNabb took the helm.. Our oline got younger and better with the additions of Peters and Andrews.. We added more weapons for McNabb in Cornilius Ingram and Jeremy Maclin.. Also, don't forget we still have Desean Jackson who is now another year older and another year wiser.. LeSean McCoy will be a solid backup for Westbrook and add quality depth incase of injury..

The Eagles probably did more in the offseason than anyother team in the NFC east to get better.. This was a team that was a quarter away from the super bowl too, so how are you guys going to say they aren't super bowl contenders much less say they aren't playoff contenders..

And you want to talk about a team that did nothing in the offseason to get better?? Look no further than your Dalless Cowturds! Their biggest move this offseason was signing another aging backup qb.. Lol way to go cowpies!!

Not a single intelligent assessment in your entire post. So it must be homer blindness.
McNabb and Westbrook are close to being done. Both are injury prone and will most likely miss at least 5 to 8 games each. Nothing else on the team has changed for this upcoming season other than the loss of the defensive heart and fire in Dawkins. Philly finishes third......(maybe 4th behind the skins')

Yea McNabb is coming of arguably the best season of his career but yea he is close to being done!?

You're funny, Philly will run through the division and the Cowturds will end up watching the super bowl at home where they need to be.. If you discount the Eagles as the obvious favorites to win the NFC, then it's hard for me not to discount your knowledge of football..

No that old safety that everyone keeps saying will be the downfall of the Eagles next year and his defense blew the nfc championship. McNabb did everything he needed to do.

No there is one thing he didn't do, the most important thing, WIN. McNabb's team, with McNabb at his best, LOST.

Lol, so he was in charge of the defense as the Cardinals took the lead in the 4th quarter?

The 6 points he lead them to in the 1st half really helped the team didn't it.

They had almost 3 mins in their last drive. They had plenty of time to score. McNabb was 3-8 in the last drive. He lost the game for Philly because he couldn't complete a pass. Face it, McNabb cost Philly the game.

McNabb is fine.. man it would be nice for the cowturd fans to be able to talk about playoff games after the first round huh?? Its been a long time since they have been able to do that

"if you ain't first, you're last." -Ricky Bobby

Q: How many championship games has Donovan McNabb won in his career?

A: Fewer than Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, or Eli Manning.

I don't know which is sadder, the Bills' run in the 90s or the Eagles' run in the '00s.

At the same time, DeSean Jackson went off last year as a rookie, and that was for the Eagles. I think Maclin will make a big impact, and quickly (if he signs before training camp).

Win as a team; lose as a team. McNabb got them back in the game, he just didn't finish. At the same time, defense didn't do it's job when it needed to. Both sides lost that game, and the Iggles aren't the only team that happened to.
