Have you hit the Taylor Made R9 ? And if so, Is it that much better than the R7?

averages out to approx 78.5 give or take.. Nice job -  Lil 44 got a new set of irons the last week of June - he has been working 10 hour days, driving 30 miles back to Cuero and then playing at least 9 holes before supper. Not sure if the clubs made the difference or playing the "home course" every day - but he's shaved quite a few strokes off himself. He and his middle brother (Buddha) played some nice courses in Daytona/Orlando area when were were out there last week and he's going out there to play at SawGrass in Sept.. He is STOKED bigtime.. :) I think his personal best is 72 but I am not real sure. 70 is a milestone he's shooting for ;)

thats the thing with me - i know legends cc like the back of my hand and i get around it pretty well - get me on a course ive never played and i would bet on myself to shoot in the 78-82 range, not under par...

home course knowledge can save a person 2-6 shots a round....

im still waiting on that 'perfect' round with no bogies....

I have played with both and have to say that I prefer the Taylormade Tour Burner. I can hit the Tour Burner farther and straighter than either the R7 or R9. Maybe its just my swing though.
