Borat was hilarious. The previews to Bruno look good.

I made a thread aobut the movie a couple of days ago. Its similar to Borat but in a gay version. It is not as good as Borat tho.

it was funny...but more vulgar than borat ever was. if you didn't like borat, i advise you not to watch bruno.

It was very funny and worth watching. I liked Ali G on HBO. I think the Borat character gives Cohen more comedic license with his fish out of water routines. You're doomed to be disappointed if you're expecting Borat with this movie. People tolerate a lot more from a hetero foreigner than a gay foreigner.

I do find it ironic that in Cohen's attempt to expose people for their prejudices (in this case homophobia) he himself has stereotyped Southerners. He could go anywhere in the US and find perform some of these bits.
