My husband called me around 6 this morning to tell me that his youngest sister had called to tell him that his nephew (from his oldest sister) had gone to a bar in Midland and got in a fight and was shot and killed by a Midland Police officer.

This is the only information I have right now and there is nothing on any of the news stations about it.

I didn't know Jeremy that well, he older than my kids, but I know that he had a wife and kid.

Either way, whether this was "deserved" or not...a family is grieving this morning and I would appreciate a little prayer for the Waller Family!

I know I am late getting on but I am so sorry for your tragedy and loss. My prayers are with your family. My God comfort and strengthen them in their time of loss and grief.

Please pray for the Garcia family too. This is the police officer who felt in fear enough for his life that he felt he had no recourse

Jeremy was a good kid who made a TERRIBLE decision...one that he can't take back.

OMG Ranger Mom. I am so sorry. This is just terrible.

That quote proved to be true for Jeremy. My prayers and thoughts are with you and the families.
