"Ironic Chemistry"
I can't help but but think that it's ironic,
how I thought you were something great, somewhat iconic.
Just laying my eyes upon you rejuvenated me like a tonic,
and now I see...I'm glad I never had you.
There were no words I could summon for you, no description.
There was something there I couldn't read about you,
an encryption,
but i've come to realize I should've known it was a premonition,
cuz now I see...I'm better off without you.
And to think that what I had to offer wasn't sufficient,
That all my attributes, according to your standards,
were deficient;
I didn't have what was needed for our chemistry,
a missing coefficient.
But now I know, all along it wasn't me...
and now I'm going on without you.

"Life Rhyme"
I have many regrets, while i try to reset,
the memories I can't forget.
It's only the pain, that will remain,
and it's driving me insane.
There was a time, in my moral prime,
and its eating at me, to see, that I can't be,
more than the teller of this rhyme.
All I want is is another chance, to take a stance,
to take away all those rants.
Maybe someday, I might astray, on the right path,
wherever it may lay.
I now have motivation, to focus on my fixation,
and view my life as a new creation.
Keeping my head held high, cuz I know I can fly,
and meet my goals, as life rolls, over bumps and holes,
I will succeed in the time before I die.

"Poem to the Lord"
It's only until it's too late,
to realize what I've done.
Although I say my life is great,
i've committed acts that I now shun.
I justified it, and simplified it,
to fit my selfish desire.
Now I want to hide it, set aside it,
I'm down to my last wire.
How did i ever astray,
from the path I knew was right.
I think about it each countless day,
and dream about it at night.
All I can do, to feel what is true,
is quit thinking of me and believe in you.

"Chocolate Coated Words"
One whisper in my ear, words that sound so clear,
all I could ever to want to hear,
are your chocolate coated words.

Never had anything else so sweet, no one else i could ever
meet,
could give me such better treat,
than your chocolate coated words.

You want to leave but i beg you please,
this time together we should seize,
how can you bring me to my knees,
with these chocolate coated words.

"At all"
If I cried a thousand tears,
And yet nobody ever saw.
Does it mean that all the tears that fell
Were never cried at all?
If I tried my hardest to be with you
Crossed every river climbed every wall.
But you weren’t there to see it,
So to you I never tried at all.
If I were willing to die for you,
Something that some say is my downfall,
But if you refuse to watch me,
Will I ever die at all?

"The Love Drug"
...Laying back drowning in euphoria,
loss of senses without prediction,
spiraling through an abyss of emotion,
i think you are my new addiction.
...numbness throughout my body,
like an injection of your kiss,
within seconds going through my veins,
this high you give me is bliss.
...touching your silky smooth skin....
puts me in ecstasy.
the scent of your hair as i inhale,
brings me back to reality.
...i can't get enough of you,
i have a problem that i'll admit,
i found a new addiction that's you,
this addiction that i'll never quit.

here's another I just wrote...hope some are enjoying these!

"Look Past Color"

Why is it that we can't look past
the color of our brother.
Judging them before we reallv even know
the potential of each other.
I'm sick and tired of people
pulling out the race card,
I guess it's just easier than getting to know someone,
yeah that's too hard.
Seems like every day, ya hear something
bout racist whites or racist blacks.
The honest truth is they are a disgrace,
need to check themselves, those are facts.
We're all in this together,
seems like racism's gonna be around forever.
All we gotta do is get a little clever,
and see we can rid it, and see it never.
But it takes some swallowing of some pride,
to step back and admit we're wrong.
I guess some people don't have it in them,
their temper towards another just ain't that long.
Sometimes it takes an act of God,
to realize every color has their good.
Maybe someday you'll see a miracle,
and maybe one day we'll all be understood.
There's only so much time,
that each person has here on this Earth.
Just hope and pray that within time,
we can set aside our differences and see another's worth.
