Since Buc-ees opened in Wharton on Wednesday there has been a gas price war going on with Walart

Both were $2.28 today -Buc-ees was packed to the rafters and Walmart had cars waiting in line for gas as well

Guess lot of that had to do with 4th of July holiday

Been to Buc-ees three times since Wed and it has been packed each time

My uncle has a Buc-ees near Greatwood outside of Rosenberg

Gas is $1.99 when you get a car wash

Regular was $2.28 and they has a gas war going on with a station across the street whoi had gas for $2.18

Both Vallero's in Wharton are $2.36 as well as HEB

Don't know how long this war will last-I'm sure they will come back up and level out once the new wears off at Buc-ees

yes

You take Hwy 99 exit outside of rosenberg from 59 and take a right at the light

It's at the first red light about five blocks down after you turn

It's a lot smaller one than the one in Wharton but still nice

If you take a left it takes you on 99 which connects to Katy Freeway

It's on Crabb River Road. TexasHSFB, it is on the left as we would come in from the SE, between Thompson Rd and that fancy gated community at the red light. Kinda sits back off the road some.

While I think it's nice that Wharton has a Buc-ees, do we really need to start seeing the signs in Victoria?

Sounds like they may be trying to create a curiosity of what their store is in DFW and eventually expand in to Dallas.

There is a gas war in Sherman right now. Gas was down to $2.29 over the weekend and may be lower still when I go downtown again.

I forgot because it's off the main road a hundred yards or so. I was wondering why?
