Going into the final week of the regular season many things are still up in the air..
1-3A: Perryton and Canyon play this week for the district tittle..Borger and Amarillo River Road play for the last playoff spot..if Borger wins Perryton and Canyon will be D2 and Borger will be D1...if River Road pulls the mild upset then Canyon goes D1...
2-3A: Another jumbled up district...Brownfield and Littlefield are in at 3-1...they play this week for the district tittle..Brownfield will be D1...Muleshoe, Lubbock Cooper and Dimmitt are all tied at 2-2...Muleshoe has 0-4 Slaton this week so look for them to be at 3-2...Cooper and Dimmitt play...if Dimmitt wins and Muleshoe wins both would be 3-2 and Dimmitt would be in...if Cooper and Muleshoe win then Muleshoe is in...if Muleshoe loses then the winner of Cooper, Dimmitt is in...ok got it? LOL
3-3A: Snyder has the district tittle locked up at 4-0...they'll be D1..Sweetwater is 3-1 and has a hold on the top D2 seed..Merkel and Denver City are both 2-2 A Merkel win or a DC loss puts Merkel in..Denver City must hope that they beat Snyder and Merkel losses to Lamesa...
4-3A: Greenwood is 4-0 and has district wrapped up..Ft Stockton is 3-1 but not quite out of the woods yet even though they look strong for the D1 spot..Monahans and Kermit are both 2-2...MHS got a big win over Kermit this past week..Monahans will be 3-2 becuase they have a forefit win over Presidio..Kermit plays 3-1 Ft Stockton..if Kermit wins then you have a 3 way tie and one team will be sitting home...if Ft Stockton wins they go D1 and Monahans will be the D2 2nd seed...
5-3A: Iowa Park and Graham are both 4-0 and playing for the district tittle..Graham is the D1 seed...IP is the D2 top seed...Vernon is 2-2 and with a win over 1-3 Childress they are in..but if Childress wins and Breckenridge losses then Childress is in...if Childress and Breckenridge wins then it goes to tie breaker at 2-3 between Vernon, Childress and Breckenridge..
6-3A: This district is easy...Wylie is D1 and plays top D2 seed Ballinger for district..Commanche and Clyde are both 2-2 and playing for the last playoff spot..
7-3A: Decatur has the top spot just about wrapped up...with a win they get the D2 top seed...Lake Dallas is 3-1 and if they upset Decatur things could get interesting as then you could have a 3 way tie for first if Bridgeport beats Sanger...regardless Lake Dallas is the D1 seed..if Bridgeport wins then they are in also..if they lose to Sanger though they could miss the playoffs..
8-3A: Kennedale wrapped up the tittle last week...Everman and Glen Rose are both in..they play this week for 2nd...Everman is D1
