We had a crossing guard that was killed by a vehicle years ago. His name was Richard Head. The paper ran a story on him saying "Dick Head killed in accident".

He was a good guy who was was pushing a child out of the way of a vehicle from what I heard. Still the juvenile comes out in us sometimes.:o

Mr. Nutter
and a classmate with the last name "Smallwood" and another with a last name of "Woodcock"

In college I had a teacher named Dick Wells

Another one of my favorites of all time is a nickname but "Tricky" Dick Nixon is classic..

I remember in high school we played Texarkana Liberty Eylau and they had a Linebacker named George Washington.. Also the Peacocks from Pilot Point always made me giggle

Actually, the spelling makes me laugh. I have a close friend with that last name and it is pronounced Fewches in her family. I think their family was originally from the Brenham area. At least that's where they go for family reunions.
