I watched it for the first time last night. They had a guy come that said he was going to perform a song that he had written about a crush he had on a Baywatch star as a teenager. Everyone assumed it was going to be about Pamela Anderson and the beginning of the song led you to believe that. As it turns out it was a song meant for David Hasslehoff. Hahaha!

Poor Boyle, she couldn't quite keep it together at the end. This guy looked genuine, the cynic in me tells me that all these shows look for that one diamond in the rough and prop him up as such. Despite that, glad they did, it's nice to see someone realize they are on the doorstep of a dream. No matter how he turns out, I'm sure record labels will be dying to sign him at the end of this.

No kidding! I just saw where he was fighting back tears and grinning from ear to ear while the judges and the crowd was giving him his accolades. That was awesome.

I never watch this show but I was flipping thru the channels and decided to watch it. I thought this 14 year old girl from California Thia Megia was AWESOME!!!! WOW!!! Never expected that voice to come from that little girl!!
