The Dawgs owned this one from the start. After stopping Reagan's first drive Jordan Shipley returned a punt 70+ yards for a touchdown. Burnet held Reagan again and took over about their own 25. The first offensive play of the night for Burnet was a 75 yard TD pass from McGee to Shipley, but it was called back.Burnet punted and Reagan ran it back for their only TD.Burnet's Patrick Miller then ran a 60-70yd. TD.Halftime Burnet 13-6.The second half was owned by Burnet, They punted then held Reagan and then Burnet drove the field for a 6yd. TD by Cody Warner, Burnet held Reagan again drove the field and scored on a 30yd. pass from McGee to Shipley.Burnet held Reagan drove the field then fumbled on a 1st and goal from the 5.They again held Reagan, took over didn't drive much but missed a 32yd. FG attempt.Burnet closed out the scoring by Shipley's int. return of 45yds. for the final score.Burnet held Reagan and drove a little then took a knee to end the game deep in Reagan Territory.The Dirty Dawg Defense held the Reagan offense scoreless all night.It was a GREAT WIN for Burnet.

Burnet Bulldogs are for REAL! and need to be taken serious!! We are out for it all!! Burnet was ranked losing on almost all polls this week and the dogs went out and proved theirselves tonight!!! WAY TO GO DOGS!!

This definitely establishes Burnet as the team to beat in Region 4. Burnet must be awesome! Good luck the rest of the way!

Hold that thought until this friday! Sinton plays maybe a tougher Gregory-Portland team. I've been saying that GP is better than most people think, and we'll see that. GP will go deep in 4A playoffs. Congrats Burnet! That is A GREAT WIN!!!

Great win burnet and happy times for your fans. I saw the score and highlight on tx hs extra. impressive win, might have to rethink the bandara game unless injuries set ya'll back. good game and win.
