i don't listen to them much, but i do agree that they are great. way better than metallic ever was, is, or will be.

plus, the dudes in the band know how to party from what i've read.

No way. Just cause some band comes along and duplicates the 80's metal sound doesnt make them great.

There already was a band called Mastedon back in the 90's. John Elephante, former lead singer of Kansas, formed a band by this name and released two albums with them. They were a really good hard rock band that most people never heard of.
