Without a doubt, Michael Jackson was a musical legend that will be missed. I'm sure, much like myself, a lot of ya'll grew up on his music. In fact, the Thriller album was the first album I ever bought. Sadly, do to his behavior and actions over the past ten plus years, there was a severe disconnect for me. While watching the news last night, i heard one music exec compare his influence to Elvis and Sinatra. No doubt, I agree. My question is how many musical icons left in the world would have this type of GLOBAL reaction when they die. I just don't think there are that many left. Here is my small list. Please feel free to add on.

1. Paul McCartney
2. Madonna
3. Mick Jagger

I thought of a couple more last night, but they have slipped my mind.

The legend lives on but the ones who appear to be dead in the flesh are at least mostly dead
