Sandra Bullock fans

Last night I went to the movies expecting to see Transformers. Bought my tickets online to avoid waiting at line at the theatre. Lotta good that did me! Showed up 35 minutes early thinking I'd be okay...WRONG! :doh:

The place was packed and the few seats that were available were on the very first row. I was not about to watch Transformers with my head thrown back for 2+ hours.

We went to watch The Proposal instead. It turned out to be a very funny movie, not The Hangover funny, but good laughs funny. It has a great supporting cast. Betty White stole the show!

So, if you are a Sandra Bullock fan, I highly recommend this movie.

And the next time I try to go watch Transformers, I will show up 1.5 hours early as Kyle has suggested. :D

I wanted to see the Hangover last weekend, but had to settle for The Proposal...it was pretty good I thought.

About 8 minutes from the end the film MELTED right before our eyes. This was at the point when she (Bullock) left the house after the "non-wedding". There was NO WAY I was gonna leave after sitting there all that time.

It took about 30 minutes, but they finally got it up back and running.

I didn't know drive-in's (or any theater) still used reel to reel....I figured all that would be on DVD these days!!!

I thought so too! I laughed A LOT and that's always a good thing. :) There was plenty of spill over from people not finding seats for Transformers and everyone seemed to really enjoy the movie. Had my friend's daughter (12) not been with us, we probably would have watched The Hangover again! haha

I saw it in Abilene when our boys were at the Air it Out camp. Very funny movie. Betty White did steal the show!
