Overall, Region II looks much better in the middle than last year. Many of the playoff teams look to continue to improve; however, the distance between Celina and the rest of Div II does not appear to have narrowed by a considerable margin.
Div I should feature both Alvarado and Van, while Prosper remains strong enough defensively to beat both again-but first they have to replace a QB like Nix.
Given the wealth of experience returning at several schools, the overall quality of the region seems to be improving, and once again the winners of both D I and II will be quality opponents for their Region I counterparts.
