This is just the active managers, isn't it? I wonder where Billy Martin would rank on the all-time list? :D

He's still be behind Bobby Cox - he's alltime leader.

Yeah, I figured that much. After all, hasn't Bobby Cox got 20+ years on anybody else?:D Ratio-wise, I'm curious who was ejected the most per games managed.

The All Time Top 10 are

Bobby Cox (123)
John McGraw (117)
Earl Weaver (97)
Leo Durocher (95)
Frankie Frisch (82)
Paul Richards (80)
Tony La Russa (73)
Clark Griffith (62)
Joe Torre (58)
Lou Piniella (57)

Billy Martin was ejected 51 times in his 1253 game managerial career, an average of once every 25 games -- more frequently than Piniella, but not nearly as often as Richards, Frisch, Earl Weaver or Bobby Cox. Larry Bowa was another guy frequently thrown out -- 50 ejections in 853 games, averaging once every 17 games.

Thanks, Buckeye1980. That's what I was curious about. I remember Billy Martin getting kicked out of some games when he was the Rangers' manager. It was downright comical at times.

So he was fired by George Steinbrenner more times than he was
ejected from games. Lol
