I don't even really know how to explain what I need.

I am linking cells from a master copy to separate worksheets.

On my master copy I have information that will always be there....and other info that may or not be there from month to month.

Anyway....when I take out the information I don't need for that month, it leaves me with the $ sign (which is how my format is set up) on the worksheets.

My question is....how to do I make those cells not show "anything" when there is no information on the master copy.

First things first, have you tried right click format cells? That's the first idea.

If not, you may have to go into workbook format from the toolbar, are you on XP or vista?

LOL!! Well, my boss started it and she's on Vista with Office 2007...she sent it to me and I have XP with Office 2003.

If I had Excel on my laptop here I'd help you out.. I've done that stuff in school but I can't explain it unless I can see it myself
