I'm about to buy my first. $700 for a used 2006 Red Hurricane Phoenix 140 in good shape with rudder, also includes a seairsports seat, which new was $150, and paddle.

Guy said he was going to sell it for 800 but because he knows me he'll let it go for 7.


What do you think?

That particular kayak is selling for 1049.00 w/o the rudder I think now.

1,049.00 (Kayak)
240.00 (Optional Rudder)
150.00 (Seat)
200.00+ (Depth Finder and Paddle - I'm not sure of the exact value)


That totals atleast 1,639.00 new, and I COULD get it for 700.


Good deal? I think so.
