Ok, I need some help. I found this tool in a garage sale, and it looked to me like it was well made and maybe worth more than the buck I paid for it. Does anyone have any idea what this is? The Trademark says Germany and has a picture of an anchor, a star, and an arrow. The other side says HUNKINS-WILLIS ST. LOUIS

Surely somebody out there knows what this is.

Thanks for your help.

All I've been able to find so far is that Hunkins-Willis was a Lime and Cement company in St. louis. I have emailed a contact who is an antique tool collector. If he knows, I'll let you know.

Thanks Tony.

I hope the buck I spent was not wasted.
I hate wasting money.

Offhand, I'd say it is an antique, probably worth more than a buck.

PPHSFan....I have researched this on the Internet and concluded what you have purchased is an antique folding German Navy boomerang. It is called "Der Kommenbakker" in German.

My contact says it looks like a wood scribe, but he can't tell if the device on the end has sharp edges. Here's one he sold not too long ago:

Thanks for your help.Man I'm almost certain my dads got one of those. When we had to put him in a nursing home we went through his tool shed and separated his modern tools from his antique tools. He had tools that were his grandpa's. We all agreed it has something to do with wood we just never figured out what it was.
