i figured yall would know me well enough that i tried that already... i left the burner run though, figured the heat would add another element to the cleaning power of all of it. any other ideas?

Are you wanting to clean the oven door or is it the range? Is it a smooth top one? I can't help if you leave out half the info. :p

is it one of those flat top stoves? if it is there is a product called Cooks glass cleaner for cook top stoves.. it works very good (atleast on ours it does) if its not one of those, try 409 and those mr clean magic erasers... they work pretty good as well.

Hmmmm.....sucks to be you. :D It looks like 409 scratched it! Easy Off has a stove top cleaner that's really designed for the smooth top ranges, but I bet it would work. I think I would try the spray instead of the other, since it shouldn't have anything abrasive in it.

I'm thinking maybe Clorox Clean Up. I use it on countertops, stove, fridge, toilet, etc.

Usually just a little dish washing liquid and water will cut grease just fine.

Sprinkle baking soda on it and let it sit. Then use a wet towel and wipe down.

We have that exact stove. I consulted Mrs Beast and found out that she uses Clorox Clean Up. She said it gets ours clean everytime.
