dont have the numbers but the word is they will be 3a for another reincarnation. Maybe not after that. I remember hearing something like 795 this year and a lot more for next but still under the 4a line for another 2. But don't quote me on that. My memory may be faulty.

Last alignment was 657. No idea what they really have now. If I were placing an over/under for betting purposes I would say 800.

How about Lovejoy sitting there with 848 and it only being 3 classes when they were counted. Just like the Frisco schools they will be playing 3A ball with pretty good 4A numbers. I really wish the UIL would rethink the way that they handle these types of situations.

I don't think it really matters what enrollment Prosper has so long as they have 1 less student than the 3A cutoff. It all boils down to what the enrollment is at Abilene Wylie because everybody knows that's where the 3A numbers stop.:D

We'll just have to disagree about this.

Frisco is opening another school this fall. Lovejoy's enrollment might drop due to the new school.

I may be wrong, but I do believe that the incoming freshman class is counted as well. So, its the 8th-Jr classes that are counted.

Isn't Lovejoy in Lucas (next to Allen)?

That is what I have always heard.....the "INCOMING" 9th -12th....which would be 8th - 11th.

It is my understanding that Frisco is opening 2 new high schools this fall and 1 new high school in 2010.

My how times change. I remember playing in high school with Celina, Pilot Point, Aubrey, Southlake Carroll, Coppell, Frisco, Little Elm, and Callisburg being in the same district!

I know a guy who was in the Frisco High class of '89 and there were 89 in his class. Yes, things have changed!
