That's cool, wish her luck for me.

We sure never got to go on trips like this when we were in school, huh? (Much less get credit for it.)

They are headed into Custer Park and were told they won't have cell coverage there. On the way there, she found this:

Herd of Buffalo
http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/303/buffalov.jpg

Then the next email says "EEEEEK!!! They're everywhere!"
http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/2051/singlebuff.jpg

Although she's never driven a truck before, they rented this and have her pulling the trailer.

The camera in the cellphone works well except at great distances. Here's one she took at Mt. Rushmore. She couldn't get it to focus on something that far away.

I think your daughter got a better deal than this teacher, but I'm glad to see these teachers putting in a good effort for their students!

I believe the Elk picture was in Wyoming. They had a bear in the camp too, but both the bear and the camera holder were moving too fast to get a good picture. They are back in Colorado in the Estes area. Hiling again.

One more hike to the top of a 12,000 ft. peak and then everything after that will be headed home.
