Update your stadium listing! It is that time of year. I’m polishing up Texas Bobs Stadium Database for the 2009 season. I’ve redesigned the listings and have more pictures and more stadiums than ever before. If you are lucky enough to have a new stadium or a major renovation, let me know.
Go to this link: http://texasbob.com/stadium/

Find your stadium using the map or the search. If the information is not correct just click on the “Update Stadium Listing” link located under the picture. If your stadium doesn’t have a picture or needs a new picture, send it to me.
Thanks for your support.

Hey, Bob, I doubt Cumby has updated their stadium, so I bet you can keep the pic I sent you 6 years ago.

We need to get a new picture of Gordon Wood Stadium... I don't know who is playing in that game that that pic was taken during... but it wasn't Brownwood playing... the stands barely had anyone in them.

Wow really? I know it's 1A, but I would have thought there would be more people there than that.

Cuero is doing some renovations also. Sinton passed a bond for improvements to one of our schools and it included some athletic improvements. Hopefully, we'll see those improvements NEXT fall.

Van's new athletic complex will be ready for this season.

Football stadium seats 6500+ with 1800 or so red seat back chairs, turf field with red end zones & a big "V" in the middle of the field, field house/weight room with windows over looking the field. Also new tennis courts and softball field. Its just about complete right now and it really makes it clear how terrible our old facilities were.

Here's a link to a ppt of the work going on at our stadium. The people doing the work are the same that layed down the turf at Dallas' new stadium

Here is a pdf file on the new Van stadium. Scroll down a little bit and you will see a pic of what it will look like. Nice.

Hey Texas Bob....

Just a little FYI, Midland Christian no longer shares the field at Grande with Midland Lee/High.

They started playing on their own field last season!!!

I have Midland Christian's stadium listed:

But I still have them listed with Grande. I'll fix it.

I've seen it, at least some of the work in progress. I'm pretty certain that they're laying turf.

I drove by it yesterday. I will be shocked if it is not by far the nicest stadium in 6 man football. Lots of seating and turf! Way to go Zeyphr!

I've been through Zephyr many times, but hardly ever see a single person there. In fact I've seen many more Zebras in Zephyr than people. But even those numbers seem to have dwindled considerably the last couple of years. I guess they've been dying off.
